Welcome. I hope that you will develop an interest in learning about peoples of different cultures and countries. Do your best work and respect others.

Thursday: Why is SW Asia important? Look over the course syllabus and course requirements tonight. There will be a quiz on this tomorrow. Your parents have an assignment too. One of your parents is to email me their opinion/ideas on teen use of social media. Please send by NEXT WEDNESDAY, September 4th .  My email address is Tim-griffin@scusd.edu   If email is not an option, then a written paragraph will suffice.

Start on the maps of SW Asia. Maps are due next Thursday. Got color pencils?  

Friday: Quiz on the course syllabus and course requirements. Introduction to the five themes of geography… you’ll attaching one of the five themes onto your Current Events every Thursday.
