Context: This collection of science websites was created for science education GS 4401 under the advisement of Jeff Goodman during Block II in the fall of 2007.

Impact: This collection of websites could be used in a classroom to aid in student learning about the subjects of matter and weather. The websites could be used by the teacher in gathering information and preparing for the science lessons on matter or weather. They could also be used by students to learn more about matter and weather and in gathering information for projects.

Alignment: Standard 3, Indicator 2—This standard was met because the websites can be used in building teacher knowledge of basic physical science concepts, specifically the concepts of matter and weather. Some of the sites could be used by students within lessons or outside of school to gather more information about matter and weather.
