·        Concert Band (advanced band in grades 5^th through 8^th) 

ü      Will perform on 3 concerts (Winter, Fine Arts Preview, & Spring), potentially 1 or 2 church worship services, and will participate in the Fine Arts Festival (hosted at Immanuel in late winter/early spring).

ü      Will meet for rehearsal: on Monday* mornings at <st1:time w:st="on" Minute="30" Hour="7">7:30 a.m.</st1:time>, Sept. through May.

* All Mondays when school is in session, with the exception of the 1^st Monday after Christmas vacation…moved back to Tues.(<st1:date w:st="on" Year="2009" Day="6" Month="1">1/6/09</st1:date>). Some weeks where Monday is a “no school” day, the group’s rehearsal will be bumped back to that Tuesday. Notification from the director will be sent home the week before to inform parents.

·        Intermediate Band (students in 5^th and 6^th grades)

ü      Will perform on 1 concert (Winter)

ü      Will meet for rehearsal: on Tuesday mornings at <st1:time w:st="on" Minute="30" Hour="7">7:30 a.m.</st1:time>, September through January.      Most of these 5^th & 6^th grade students will also be in Concert Band, which rehearses on   Monday mornings at <st1:time w:st="on" Minute="30" Hour="7">7:30 a.m.</st1:time> and performs at the Fine Arts Preview and Spring Concerts.

·        Cadet Band (beginning band students, usually 4^th or 5^th grades)

ü      Will perform on 1 concert (Spring Concert - as the 4^th grade “Cadet” group does not start until January) and a “mini-concert” in March or April (Only the Cadet Band performs on the              “mini-concert”, which has not yet been scheduled).

ü      Will meet for rehearsal: on Tuesday*** mornings at 7:30 a.m., February – May

*** Notification from the director will be sent home the week before any schedule change occurs.

ü      Will meet for rehearsal: on Thursday afternoons during the school day (8^th period) from     <st1:time Hour="14" Minute="26" w:st="on">2:26-3:06 p.m.</st1:time> September through May. These students will also be in Concert Band, which meets on Monday mornings at <st1:time Hour="7" Minute="30" w:st="on">7:30 a.m.</st1:time>
