Description of the Assessment
To assess candidate prerequisite knowledge related to the ISTE Technology Coach standards, the 500 level Instructional Technology courses include multiple embedded assessments. Each course includes multiple assessments of candidates’ mastery of these standards. For purposes of documenting candidate competency for Technology Coach standards, the final course grade is used to evidence candidate learning. Candidates are required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in order to be recommended to the state for licensure as an Instructional Technology Teacher (MA’s license corresponding with ISTE Technology Coach).
