The artifact I chose to demonstrate Standard 3 is the Teacher Work Sample that I wrote for my pre-clinical experience. This work sample evaluates three students, specifically, in my Honors Analysis classes: one low-achieving, one middle-achieving, and one high-achieving student. I gave my students a pre-assessment before I taught a lesson on quadratic equations, then gave them a post-assessment after the lesson. In the work sample, I analyzed the results of the assessment and monitored the growth of each student. This work sample especially exemplifies the subpoint of Standard 3 that states, "Teachers analyze data to monitor student progress and learning, and to plan, differentiate, and modify instruction." I have also attached several documents that go along with an Authentic Assessment Study that I completed. This study follows one student that I tutored and gave different formative and summative assessments. The "Authentic Assessment" attachment includes a summary of the study and reflections on each of the assessments. The remaining attachments are some of the assessments that I created for the study.
