Hello! My name is Austin Hanna, and I grew up in Wadsworth, Ohio.  I am a senior at Walsh University in North Canton and will be graduating in May 2015 with degrees in Mathematics and Adolescent Young Adult Mathematics Education. At Walsh, I am currently the Vice President of Education Club, the Foundations Representative for Kappa Delta Pi Education Honors Society, a Campus Ambassador, and the Coordinator of Open Houses and Overnight Visits in the Admissions Office. Last year, I also had the opportunity to serve as a Resident Assistant for Walsh Residence Life.  Off-campus I work at Kumon tutoring center, tutoring students of all ages in math and reading.

I am in the process of completing my clinical semester at Walsh; for my pre-clinical and clinical experience, I was placed at Wadsworth High School in a junior and senior level classroom. My cooperating teacher, Mrs. Leslie North, teaches three Honors Analysis (precalculus) classes, two AP Calculus classes, and one AP Statistics class. I have full instructional responsibility for the three Honors Analysis classes and have assissted in some of her AP Calculus classes. Recently I have also had the opportunity to teach some sophomore geometry classes and work in an OGT Intervention classroom.
