While our students learn every day in the classroom, I would like to present families and students the opportunity to expand on their learning at home. Below, I have provided links to websites and resoures that I thought would be informative as well as fun for both parents and students! Enjoy!

  1. ABC Teach ABC Teach
    This website provides some free worksheets in all content areas that are grade appropriate for kindergarten through middle school.
  2. Brain Pop Brain Pop
    Brain Pop is a great resource for teachers but is also wonderful for parents and students. Work with your child at home to view educational videos and complete activities. This is something you and your child are sure to enjoy together!

    This is New Jersey's Department of Education website, which will provide you with informations about your parental rights and child's rights regarding special education.
  5. POAC POAC
    POAC, formed in 1999 as a nonprofit organization, has a proven track record of providing services to children and adults with autism, their families, and the professionals who serve them. Since its inception POAC has provided training, services, outreach and support for thousands of people throughout New Jersey and across the country. POAC has partnered with universities and treatment centers to form programs that include researched-based procedures which have proven to be effective for those with autism. While many organizations exist to find a cause and cure for this developmental disability, POAC has focused its attention and resources on how best to help the children and families who are struggling with autism today. POAC strives to help individuals with autism achieve their highest potential in their homes, schools and communities.

    This site will provide you with an insight to books that would be appropriate for your children based on age level and ability, as well as, type of story.
  7. Voki Voki
    This website allows your student to create cool characters that will speak to them through the web. Want your child to learn how to type? Motivate them by turning text into a voice that will talk back!
  8. Xanadu Xanadu
    Xanadu is Millstone's contracting company that consults with us to provide trainings to staff on Applied Behavior Analysis. We are greatful to have them in the district, as they support us in enhancing our student's social interations, positive behavior, and language acquistion. Please check out their website when you have a chance!

    Brain Pop Jr. provides fun for students in all areas of study. You can find activities in reading, writing, math, social studies, science, as well as, arts and technology. The site is very student friendly and presents materials in a fun way!
  2. PBS Kids PBS Kids
    Come play a variety of fun and educational games!
  3. Reading Eggs Reading Eggs
    This website is designed for students to practice their reading. Students are able to begin at their level based on a reading test and only allows them to progress as they learn the skills.
  4. Smarty Games Smarty Games
    This site provides educational games in language arts and math.
  5. Star Fall Star Fall
    This website is great for students! It has many fun games focused on reading and language arts.
  6. Thinkfinity Thinkfinity
    This website will provide other links to resources in all areas of academics. It also provides websites that students may access for educational games.
  7. Weather Wiz Kids Weather Wiz Kids
    This website will provide all sorts of information regarding weather. Also, it provides fun weather projects for students. Some parent assistance might be necessary.
