Rationale:  Sign Up Sheet for Classroom Computer

Context

            Using Microsoft Word, I made a computer sign up sheet that I can use in my future classroom.  I made a title that was bold and would stand out from the rest of the sheet and inserted a table with six columns and eight rows.  I labeled the table with the days of the week and the time students could sign up to use the computer in increments of one hour. 

Impact

            When I teach I will probably have a computer in my classroom.  I will put this sign up sheet beside the computer so that students can sign up to use the computer.  This will help myself be more organized in the classroom and know who is using the computer when.

Alignment

            I have met NETS-T Competency VIE in that I have designed a method (a table) for students to reserve the computer in my classroom.  I can see who has used the computer and has not had a chance to use it, thereby assuring that all students get an equal chance to use the technology in my classroom.
