Ronald Reagan was born in Tampico, Illinois on February 6, 1911. When he was younger, he liked working as a life guard and helped save many people from drowning.  He went to Eureka College and played football. 

Before he was president Ronald Reagan had many jobs.  He was a radio sports announcer, a movie actor, and became the Governor of California. 

In 1952 he married Nancy Davis who was an actress.  They had two children, a boy and a girl. 

Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States of America.  He served as president from 1981-1989.  His Vice-President was George H. W. Bush.  Reagan served two terms as President.

During his presidency President Reagan freed Americans who were being held hostage in Iran.
