Bio

Samuel Hernandez is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Loyola University where he is in his 2nd year of his program to earn a Master’s degree in Public History. His area of study is American History and has a research interest in identity formation, public art, and material culture. Samuel earned his Bachelor’s from Northeastern Illinois University where he double majored in History and Art History. His public history projects at Loyola with the Frances E. Willard House Museum and internships at the Chicago History Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago have inspired his research interests into the WCTU commissioned Fountain Girl (Willard Memorial).
