Standard 3.2 asks that candidates who wish to teach in elementary eduction understand the differences in students development and approaches to learning, so that educators may differentiate their instruction in creative ways for diverse students.
Below you will find the downloadable links to a discussion on the use of Assistive Technologies in a UDL classroom. This discussion fulfills Standard 3.2 because it demonstrates my understanding of the use of assistive technology in an elementary school setting for students with disabilities. It is important that educators understand how to differentiate their lessons through the use of assistive technology, and understand how to use these technologies in the classroom on a regular basis to help build a UDL environment.
