ePortfolio Peer Mentor

During the 2014-2015 academic year, I worked as an ePortfolio Peer Mentor for the Center for Experiential Learning at Loyola University Chicago. As one of five peer mentors, I worked directly with classes  or one-on-one with students to provide technical assistance using the ePortfolio program through TaskStream. In addition, the position helped me grow as a public speaker as I gave presenations to classes on how to create an ePortfolio. I was responsible for learning and teaching various multimedia/Web 2.0 tools. Throughout the year, I developed tutorials for different web applications including infogr.am and Smore. As a team, the ePortfolio Peers succeeded in expanding the ePortfolio program by adding tutorials and redesigning the ePortfolio website. This position has already greatly expanded my knowledge of multimedia as well as my communication and presentation skills. I made the infographic below that summarizes the achievements and work of the ePortfolio team.
