About Me

Humility . Servant Leadership . Justice . Love

I am a walking paradox as exemplified in my servant leadership style. I am strong enough to be humble, wise enough to admit my mistakes, and driven enough to serve.

My passion is seeing others find their passion. I want to help others find their passions in a faith and service context. I hope to connect students to transformative faith-based and service opportunities. I am interested in campus ministry and higher education as tools of transformation and social justice.

I love presenting and influencing faith in the contemporary 21st century world. I take a modern approach to ministry as I enjoy using social media, music and multimedia as tools for building a faith community among young people. I am willing to start the difficult faith conversations that many people avoid.

Currently I am a senior studying Theology at Loyola University Chicago. As I near graduation, I am considering a year of service after graduation. I am interested in urban education, student affairs and ministry. I aspire to work in campus ministry connecting students to faith and service opportunities. I think a year of service will give me time to gain valuable experience and to grow in a new capacity before attending graduate school. After a year or two of service, I hope to complete a post-graduate program in theology or pastoral ministry.

I am originally from Greenwood, IN, where I grew up with my parents and older sister. I like to think of Loyola and Chicago as a second home now. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, singing and volunteering.

The proof of love is in the works.

Where love exists, it works great things.

When it ceases to act, it ceases to exist.

-Pope Gregory the Great
