Here is a paper I wrote for the Honors Seminar class I took my first semester of college. This paper explores the theories of beauty by three great thinkers. In relation to Plato's Ascent of Eros as found in Symposium, I compare and contrast Augustine's internal search for beauty in Confessions and Abbot Suger's external display of beauty in architecture. I chose this paper because I was challenged by the Honors program, but I feel as if this paper shows my ability to analyze and write.
