Context: This artifact was completed during Block II in the fall of 2005. This artifact is my portion of a group collaborative project on teaching strategies. This artifact was completed under the direction of Dr. Lynne Bercaw. 

Impact: I will be able to use this artifact in my future classroom as a strategy for teaching reading comprehension.  Also, Tableau allows students to focus of some of the major elements of a story as well as allowing for the connection of literature to plays, movies, or even television.

Alignment:
Standard 8-2: This artifact demonstrates that I can use strategies to allow students to monitor their own reading comprehension.  The strategy shown demonstrates comprehension through a creative medium that the students may find fun or interesting.
Standard 8-3: This artifact demonstrates mastery of indicator three because tableau allows students to picture in their mind the progression of the text they are reading.
