Video Production

Context:
This video was created in the Fall of 2005 in Block II  during CI 3750-437.  I worked in a group with Heather Sullivan, Megan Machuga, and Talena Stanley to complete this project under the supervision of Jeff Goodman.

Impact:
In the future, I will be able to teach my students how to make movies as a creative way to integrate technology into the classroom.  I plan to use IMovies in my classroom as a form of assessment.  I hope to have projects throughout the school year that focus on history reading and other subjects.

Alignment:
NETS-T
I-B: This artifact demonstrates that I am able to use current technology and will be able to remain current on technological developments.  I will also be able to update this lesson idea in the future by using the most up to date technology and by updating the content to fit the curriculum.

NETS-T II-D: My future students will be able to share technology resources such as video cameras, tripods, and computers with other students in the classroom.  Also, my students will be working in groups to complete assignments similar to the artifact so they will be able to use all of the equipment in a group setting.

NETS-T VI-B:  This artifact can be modified for my future classroom as an activity for all types of learners.  All students will be able to perform in each part of the process for completing a video.
