Student Teaching Journal

Context: This artifact was created as a reflection of one week of student teaching.  My student teaching took place during the spring of 2006 and was under the direction of my cooperating teacher, Ms. Edith Ferguson.

Impact: This journal reflects on collaborating with staff members to improve the quality of instruction given to one student.  In the future I will work with faculty members and other members of the community to provide the best form of instruction and care for my students.

NCDPI Alignment:
Standard 16-9:
Having students with different needs within the classroom is a constant challenge.  This artifact demonstrates that I am capable of working with the community and within the school to provide the best form of instruction and care for each of my students.
Standard 16-10: By collaborating with the school social work team, I was able to assist my student in excelling in the classroom.  This artifact demonstrates my ability to pull from various resources to meet the needs of each of my students.
