The readings we were assigned about leadership gave specific examples of what it takes to be a leader. Anyone has the chance to be a leader, but needs to take it upon themselves to become one. This assignment gave me the opportunity to reflect on my leadership styles and values. It made me reflect on what Mary Ann said and implement it into my own values and styles. It not only let me look at myself as a leader, but also other individuals at my organization as well. Being a leader is so important to excel in a role like I had because individuals are counting on you to make things run smoothly.
