Human Trafficking Presentation

During our retreat, we sat in a circle and talked about what social justice is. According to the dictionary, it is justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society, but really it is so much more than that. This activity gave us the opportunity to brain storm all of the things we thought of when it came to social justice. Just like this activity during our retreat, this presentation allowed us to explore a topic that revolved around social justice. Ella and I gained insight on this problem and how it affected many individuals in the United States. This assignment opened my eyes to the importance of being socially aware.
