And just like that it was over. The Weekend of Excellence celebrates the achievements of students across campus. As social justice interns, we got to present about our experiences at the research symposium. This event was a great way to end our program and really show what we learned from the program. I had the opportunity to have an evaluator that worked with kids that have autism. It was nice to share my experiences with her, but also hear about her research and what she does for a living. This was the final thing that really showcased how much this program meant to me and my fellow classmates. I am glad I got to talk to many individuals about this program and what it has done for me throughout this year.
