The first lesson plan is part of one on career exploration used during the first month of school.  It culminates in a nine-week project.  During the project, students use information learned in class to self-assess the interpersonal skills they feel they possess, and those they need to develop.  As part of the project, students are encouraged to job shadow.  This will allow them to witness the presence, or lack of, workplace readiness skills for a deeper understanding of why those soft skills are so important to their success.

The second lesson plan includes several Workplace Readiness Skills, including integrity, positive work ethic, and self-representation skills.  The ACT video on Successful Staff Members includes a notes page for students outlining important skills.  The page is shown below with WRS highlighted:
