Welcome to the section of my portfolio where you can find my educational autobiography. It has been a long and interesting road, that has lead me to where I am at SUNY Cortland. Read my educational autobiography to find out more about my continued education following my graduation of High School.

Educational Autobiography:

I am currently a student at SUNY Cortland in the childhood education program. I have also attended Cazenovia College as well as Syracuse University before finding my spot in Cortland, New York. I began my college education in the fashion world, but did not feel that it was for me. I considered looking into elementary education and switched majors. The first semester I was in the education department I had the opportunity to observe over 50 hours in a fourth grade classroom. From the first day stepping in to observe I knew I had found my dream job. I am so thankful for Cazenovia College's education department for placing me into a classroom in my first semester in their program. I transferred to Syracuse University to continue working for my degree in their inclusive education department. Although I only attended SU for one semester their inclusive program taught me the importance of inclusion in a childhood education setting. I am now completing my degree in childhood education at SUNY Cortland and am scheduled to graduate in May of 2012.
