WK (What we know): write down all the information that we were given in the problem

WWK (What we want to know): write down the question that we want to solve

P (Plan): decide what strategy and operation will be used to solve the problem

S (Solve): use the strategy and operation to solve the problem

E (Explain): Write down your answer, explain it in words, and explain it in pictures
