I strive to maintain professional relationships in all interactions with students, faculty, peers and parents. Some examples of my commitment to fostering a positive school community are assisting School Clean-Ups, creating sets for school shows, entering student work in contests, volunteering to create various faculty's bulletin boards, chaperoning field trips, and exhibiting student artwork. During my early-field experience and student teaching I also had the opportunity to develop positive relations with parents as I made phone calls home, submitted student artworks into various art shows, and monitored student behavior while on numerous field trips.

Along with the help of many professionals and the Pennington Events staff, I helped design and decorate for the themed Talent Show and Prom. "Show me Some Love" was the theme. Students danced the night away in a beautiful, magical summer-night themed atmosphere.

All students who can walk and those in wheelchairs could have their photographs taken in front of this area that we created.
HS students in the ES program created 3D Chinese lanterns that were lit from the top and hung in the art room to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year.
Middle school students created radial name designs and studied cross-cultural examples of this type of design.

Created by 4th & 5th graders, students used their observation skills to render realistic sea-creatures inspired by the drawings and prints of Alrecht Durer. Students were given a letter of the alphabet, then were to choose a sea-creature that began with that letter to illustrate.
