During my freshman year here at Longwood I have had the opportunity to become involved in club Field Hockey and join a sorority. I joined field hockey my first semester and really enjoyed travelling to different schools in Virginia for games. The beginning of my second semester I rushed for a sororoity. The sorority I am in is Sigma Kappa. We have five different philanthropy's: Sigma Kappa Foundation, Inherit the Earth, Gerontology, Maine Coast Sea Mission, and Alzheimers awareness. Also, I have volunteered at FACES, which is a local food pantry located in downtown Farmville. Next semester I hope to join Delta Sigma Pi and the Information System and Security Club in order to become more active towards my major and concentration.
