For my summer pursuit, I plan to review the poetic works of several Black writers...I believe in pieces that display flavor and dynamism. My goal is to gain some insight on these authors, their writings, and the impact of their writings, not just in the time it was written, but currently also. 

DISCLAIMER: It is important to note, poetry can be interepreted SEVERAL different ways. It can mean different things at different times.

So these reviews are only singlular perspectives from the innumerable interpretations of these works.
