Geometric Solids
4th Grade
Context:
This unit was created for Student Teaching, Spring 2008. This lesson was taught at Taylorsville Elementary, in March 2008. It was taught under the advisement of Heather Houston.
Impact:
This lesson was conducted in a classroom of 20 students, in the4th grade. In order for students to grasp geometric solids, I choose to do many instructional strategies such as group and individual work. Students learned about the different geometric solids, and by their appearance what made them that solid. They also learned how to construct a geometric solid.
