The nine items attached below show the work that was done during the practicum activity. Each document meets or exceeds the standards for several reasons. The evaluation and observation forms show my growth as a teacher and my ability to teach in a classroom setting. The practicum action plan form shows my intent to use what I have learned throughout my coursework at GCU to create a more technology rich classroom. The creative and critical thinking reflection form shows how I was able to implement a successful activity that required high creative and critical thinking skills from my students. The activity log documents the hours I spent on the practicum for each week during the course and the NETS standards that I met while doing my practicum. The midterm and summative assessments allowed me to reflect on my work and to look for areas of improvement. Each assessment also documents the progress I have made as a teacher through the planning, development, and implementation of technology-based activities. The practicum activities listed above are a combined work that meet the requirements of standard 6.
The final examples of my work in the practicum include three activities I created for use with my students. The files that include student activities I created are the basic physics course, e-field trip activity, and pathogen webquest. These activities meet the standards listed for standard 1 and standard 7.
