As part of my senior year of high school at Marmion Academy , I undertook a Senior Thesis, along with my partner, Sam Ford. We had decided to study Artificial Intelligence and various subtopics. We eventually found ourselves very interested in the data analysis part of Artificial Intelligence, where we were eventually able to make a computer "internalize" data and patterns so that it could predict, with some certainty, about sun spots, solar flares and their strength.

Posted below are the two presentations we have given as a culmination of our studies. Also posted below is a JAVA applet demonstrating a few basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence.

This is a small Rock-Paper-Scissors program we developed early in the Independent Study that allowed us to demonstrate the basic concept of the computer adapting to the user's play style.
