Through research Evidence-Based practice integrates the best current evidence with clinical enterprise for patients and families preferences and values for delivery of optimal Health Care. We are always striving to provide the best care that we can. It has been demonstrated that through data collection and research we can provide changes that are affected and provide better care. My lessons on Evidence-Based practice has given me a better knowledge and appreciation for the process. Determining between valid and invalid reasons of modifying Evidence-Based clinical practice is based on clinical enterprise or patient preferences, what works. Understanding the process and protocols that take place before the deviation takes place is imperative for us. I work in the cardiac cath lab where we participate in research studies, we are to follow protocol with defined instructions. The quality and integrety of our work reflects on the research data.
