Mr. Kinger

Hello all!

Thank you for taking the time to view my Science Page! This is a resource I highly recommend using often. If you are a student, this is a chance for you to stay current with class assignments if missing school, if misplacing assignments or any other reason. If you are a parent or guardian, this is an opportunity for you to stay involved with the learning process and increase your ability to help your child with work!

I'm Mr. Kinger, I am a senior, Middle Level Science Education major at Slippery Rock University. Science has always been a passion for me even as a young child. My dream job is to be an Astronaut at NASA, but wouldn't you know it, I am exactly 1 inch too tall. I've dreamed of becoming a teacher since I was in second grade, and I'm very excited to take the next step with you all!

I grew up in the Blackhawk school district, and am a resident still. During high school, I was involved with the school's environmental club, recycling club, and the varsity tennis team. At Slippery Rock University I am a member of the NSTA (National Science Teachers Association), and the PSEA (Pennsylvania State Education Association). I'm also a member of The Royal Society of Chemistry and the American Red Cross, where I teach First Aid as a certified PHSS instructor.

For this semester, I will be student teaching at the Seneca Valley Middle School beginning my teaching with the Falcons! During my time at Seneca Valley, I am also assisting the Men's Tennis team. I look forward to getting to know with the Seneca Valley population while working towards becoming a science teacher. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!
