Electromagnetism

FORCES OF ATTRACTION AND REPULSION RESULT FROM MAGNETIC AND ELECTRIC FIELDS!

 

This chapter will help you learn about magnetism.  It describes several types of magnets and also how electricity and magnetism are interconnected. 

 

Several misconceptions will be cleared up.  Often students think that the size of the magnet determines its strength or that anything shiny or made of metal will be attracted to a magnet.  We will study what really happens and how far magnetism can "reach."  I think that will enjoy this unit.
