Technology-Infused Unit
i) Create a unit, containing three to five lessons, based on your current content standards and the NETS.
ii) Use the Unit and Lesson Plan Template based on the ASSURE model when designing your lesson plans. This template is located within the Additional Resources folder in Canyon Connect.
iii) The lesson plans need to be detailed enough that a substitute teacher would be able to teach the lesson. Include all handouts, presentations, and supplemental materials. In addition, be sure to consider various instructional strategies and learning styles as you plan instruction.
iv) Essential unit criteria:
(1) The unit must incorporate at least three different types of technologies. The applications can include but are not limited to word processing, presentations, databases, Internet, multimedia, hypermedia, and podcasts.
(2) Students need to be actively using the applications.
(3) Lessons should consider various learning styles and abilities; provide differentiation.
v) Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the GCU APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
