Card making started as a way to spend time with my sister. It then became a hobby and has since transformed into a small business (and obsession). Fixin It Up creates unique handmade cards, invitations, and announcements for holidays and special occasions and maybe most importantly, for those days you just want to tell someone you care.
Where did the name "Fixin It Up" come from? My partner has a small business called "Fixin IT" (origin: named after one of his online gaming characters "Fixin Brokenstuf" and IT stands for information technology). He is an independent computer repair technician/genius.
I joked one day that I would call my business "Fixin It Up" because I make the world beautiful with my cards and the smiles people have when they receive them ... I would be "fixin up" the world! The name stuck just like my passion for creating.
