When people find out I am an introvert, they are astonished.  "But Michelle, I saw you present the other day.  You seemed so natural and energized in front of the crowd."  This is where I typically launch into my soapbox explaining exactly what an introvert is and, just as importantly, what an introvert is not.  But that's for another page!

I love being in front of a classroom because of what transpires during this time with students.  I strongly believe that we are all teachers and learners and I welcome questions, comments, and confusion as we grapple with the complexities that are always involved with discovering parts of who we are.

I take my role as an educator seriously, but also practice transparency and humor while presenting or teaching.  In this section, you can read about the different courses I have instructed and presentations I have given.
