My name is Katey Lantto, and I am a senior graduating from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Anthropology and minors in Philosophy and International Studies. Over this past year, I got to work as the Job Development intern at the Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement program.
My SJ cohort has been an integral part of this internship experience, and they have done the most work in forming me into the leader, thinker, and worker that I am now today.
One other group of people that have been foundational for my development this year in terms of understanding justice in Chicago has been this group of Labre leaders. Labre is the Loyola University Chicago homeless ministry, and we form a community of mutual respect and support with our friends on the streets and the students of our university.
