Brief Introduction of the media project

The value of using a Web Quest in education is that it allows students to not only learn about educational content in regards to the core subject areas but it also provides students with the experience of using the internet to research information. This media project will help students with the being able to read and follow directions. Conducting a Web Quest in the classroom will allow the students to act independently and learn new information through the use of the internet, the Web Quest will, I think, help students become more comfortable with the use of the internet and allow the students to gain more knowledge on how to access information on the internet as well as make sure that the information that they have recovered is accurate. This media project will encourage problem solving skills by the learning depending on what the tasks for the Web Quest are.

Specifically identify one or two goals/objectives:The students will be able to identify different careers that they may be interested in, the students will be able to describe the duties of the different careers of interest, the students will also enhance their social skills through conducting an interview.
Subject matter: – The subject matter of this particular Web Quest is English Language Arts, and it also includes Social Skills, as well as enables children to think briefly about economics. Integration of subject matter does take place.
What learning styles will most likely be attracted to this media creation?Visual Learners and tactile learners would most likely be attracted to this media creation.
What instructional strategies have been utilized? Computer assisted instruction will be utilized with this Web Quest.
Is this a self-paced or teacher-directed media project? This is a self paced media project.
Would an individual or group use this media project? An individual would use this particular Web Quest; however groups can participate in different Web Quests depending on the content.
What type of learning assessment will be used? The students’ learning will be assessed by the completion of their tasks on the Web
