Standard 2.1 Reading, Writing, and Oral Language

This guided reading lesson is a lesson that teaches children about homonyms through the use of a book call "Teach us, Amelia Bedelia" by Peggy Parish. The lesson corresponds with the standards of this section because the students are required to read, write, and listen for information.

This lesson has given me experience in using books in a classroom not only to read but to also teach children about different content areas.
