The artifact uploaded to this section of standard to correlates with math because it teaches children about the different kinds of triangles that can be made with different sides. The lesson also helps children to identify the properties of different triangles and their sides. This is a really nice geometry lesson that is geared towards the younger elementary grade level.

I like this lesson because not only does it incorporate math, but it implements the use of literature to teach a math concept as well. I think that using books to teach content is a great way to make a lesson for children because it inspires children to not only read for pleasure but to also read to gain knowledge about certain subject matter.
