The artifact that I have selected to upload to this particular standard of Professional Growth, Reflection, and Evaluation, is a Field Observation that I have conducted as a requirement for my EDU 379 course. This observation shows how I reflect on a lesson in a classroom and the things that I learned through observing the lesson, such as teaching techniques, classroom management.

Through observing the actual lesson and paying attention to the different characteristics of the classroom such as how the children are acting socially, how time and space are utilized, the differentiation in the lesson for some students, etc. Focusing on these different attributes of the lesson has given me more of a understanding for how to conduct a lesson in the classroom and all of the different aspects that I need to take into consideration when conducting the lesson.
