Artifact #31 -Examples of Partnership Involvement

1.  Rockingham County Fire and Rescue

• Received $5000  grant from Firemans Fund and used it to purchase latest series of training videos for MTC Fire and Rescue. (see attached statement from Firemans Fund)
• Donated a Fire engine and ambulance to the program.
• Makes instructors available to assist

2.  Singers Glen Volunteer Fire Company

• Hose
• Nozzles
• Miscellaneous appliances
• Ladder

 3.  Broadway Volunteer Fire Company

• Supplied an engine for open house
• Personnel assisted students with live burn activities.

 4.  Parent Involvement

• One of the students father works for Hardee’s, they supplied lunch for two (2) field trips at no cost.
• Another parent supplied straw to use for the live burn activity
• Parents have assisted with open house

 5.  Hose Company #4

• Our class assisted the career staff assigned at that station to conduct annual hose testing; in return they assisted with class testing.
