Alpha Sigma Phi's symbol is the Phoenix. There is great meaning behind this. The symbol shows a phoenix rising from the ashes of its old body, signifying the re-founding of the fraternity in 1907. Today, one of the main insignias worn to symbolize Alpha Sigma Phi is the phoenix.
