MLK Day of Service

One of Dr. King's greatest visions was a world with communities working together to address their challenges. MLK Day of Service is an opportunity for students in the IC community to perform service at organizations and agencies in the Greater Ithaca area. It is our time to remember that we have a responsibility to provide for our local community.

In my first year participating, I was lucky enough to receive a MLK NOW Award! The MLK NOW Award is given each year to a group of students who volunteer during the Ithaca College MLK Day of Service. The recipients of this award were nominated by their peers for having displayed an exemplary level of  teamwork, positive attitude, and commitment to social justice during the event.
