For the 2015-2016 academic year, the Student Government Association was able to appoint two students to serve on the Institutional Effectiveness and Budget Committee for Ithaca College. This is the first time that students have ever been permitted to serve on this committee, and it is my distinct privilege to be one of these students. 

This committee meets weekly to deliberate and ultimately compose the college's budget that is subsequently presented to the Board of Trustees for approval and adoption. This committee hols significant influence over the direction of the institution.
