This week we will continue to analyze how the media affects society as well as politics. Students will discuss ways the media affects and influences public opinion. We will also begin our unit on the Executive Branch. Our Mock Presidential Campaign will begin later this week. We will select candidates to run for president as well as select key campaign officials to help the candidate win the election.

3. Watch and analyze the first 20 minutes of the third Presidential debate between Senator Obama and Senator McCain.

5. Watch and critique presidential campaign commercials from the 2008 presidential race.

Political Poll - 50 points DUE MONDAY, OCTOBER 31ST .
interview 10 people ages 18+ and ask them the two questions on the survey. See attached form for more information and interview questions.
