BELLWORK

1. Identify 3 differences between a civil and criminal case.

2. Identify 3 similarities.

3. How is a jury selected? Identify all the steps. How is the process to select a jury important?

4. What is historically significant about todays date? (February 14th)

 

CLASSWORK

Review of world events. From the trial of Jared Loughner to the uprising in Egypt we will spend this class period learning about the world around us.

1. If you could choose THREE places you would like to visit what would they be? (Can be in the U.S. or another country.)

2. Students will get into groups of three and appoint members of the class to specific jobs/duties.

3. We will go over the results/appointments of class members.

2. How many executive departments are there?

3. What executive department was created after 9-11?
