All of the computers at Salpointe Catholic High School operate in the Windows 7 environment using Microsoft Office 2013. Students should be aware of the software versions installed on school computers so that if they are creating files at home to use or view on school machines they save as the appropriate file type and version.
In addition to approximately 385 computers on campus, Salpointe Catholic High School has almost 50 interactive white boards throughout campus and VHS and DVD viewing capability in every classroom, the library and the computer lab.
Students at Salpointe have access to tremendous software resources. In addition to Office 2013, Salpointe students have access to Adobe Creative Suites 6 (Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), Geometer's Sketchpad, Windows Live MovieMaker, and Audacity (open source sound editing software) just to name a few.
There is no assumption of privacy while on the Salpointe network.
SCHS technology use by students, faculty, and staff is not private and may be monitored at any time by designated SCHS staff to ensure appropriate use.
