Student teachers have completed a sequence of courses that included both foundational knowledge about teaching and learning as well as the teaching profession.  In each of these courses candidates have completed fieldwork experiences designed to help them apply their learning.  The courses that have been taken and fieldwork experiences can be found here (insert Field Experiences Chart and Assignments). 

In addition to coursework and fieldwork, candidates have successfully passed the first two state mandated Teaching Performance Assessment tasks.

Those who are ready to student teach have been interviewed and provided an orientation.  Upon successful completion of all the requirements for clinical practice, a placement is sought.
