Master Programs

 

Master of Arts in Teaching (with State Certification)

This pathway is currently designed for those with a Bachelor's degree and are currently the teacher of record in a secondary classroom (Middle School or High School). 

There are two parts to complete:

1. Apply to the ISU Graduate School (http://www.isu.edu/apply)

2. Meet with the Academic Advisor in the ATLAS Center for a letter of commitment and plan of study for certification requirements (contact: edadvise@isu.edu or 208.282.2783 for an appointment)

Master of Education in Elementary Education

This program is for those with a Bachelor's degree who are interested in deepening their knowledge of elementary educational practice.

1. Apply to the ISU Graduate School (http://www.isu.edu/apply)

2. Contact the Dept. Chair of Teaching and Educational Studies, Dr. Mark Neill (neilmark@isu.edu or 208.282.2967)

Master of Education in Secondary Education

This program is for those with a Bachelor's degree who are interested in deepening their knowledge of secondary educational practice.
