Click to Collapse MeasureMeasure: Monitor attendance at, and engagement with, Center for Ethics events

Proposed actions to achieve goal: Invite speakers with practical experience to campus to address ethical issues in the professions. Design student-centered events focused on High Impact Learning Practices.

Track attendance at our lectures and presentations.

Make “feedback cards” available at Ethics Center events to allow participants record thoughts, questions, and comments about the event.
Expected Results: To maintain high levels of attendance. (Many recent events have been full to overflowing.)

Use the feedback cards to learn more about who is coming to the events, and whether they find the event useful and/or informative.

Click to Collapse MeasureMeasure: Promoting respect, diversity and inclusivity on campus

Proposed actions to achieve goal: Create opportunities for dialogue between staff, administration, students, and faculty about matters of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, class, and other factors pertinent to creating an inclusive campus community.

Maintain and develop the ad hoc committee on inclusivity and broaden its involvement with the entire campus community. Partner with and support other campus organizations working towards this goal, including the Women's Lasallian Resource Committee, the Racial Justice Collective, and the Holocaust, Genocide, and Interfaith Center.
Expected Results: Identifying and bring together the constituency of people on campus who want to work to promote an inclusive community. Building coalitions that offer concrete resources for developing diversity and inclusivity on campus.
